The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta unofficially got underway this morning with Albuquerque Aloft, an event where Balloons launched from 32 elementary schools around the city.

Schools Across the City to Participate in 6th Annual Albuquerque Aloft Hot air balloons will launch from 32 Albuquerque Public Schools on Friday, Oct. 3, for the sixth annual Albuquerque Aloft. The event is part of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
